The venue provides flexible catering options, allowing you to arrange your preferred catering service to suit your tastes and budget. A self-contained catering and drinks unit can even be set up in the adjacent car park area for added convenience.
For entertainment, the hall is equipped with excellent AV facilities including , microphones, wi-fi, stage lights, and staging.

Staveley Village Hall and Institute Wedding Package Inclusions:
Main Hall Access: Use of the Main Hall from 8:00 AM until 1:00 AM on the day of the reception. (Music must stop at midnight)
Setup and Cleanup Time:
Village Hall
Access the venue the day before, from 9:00 AM to midnight for setup.
Access the day after the reception from 9:00 AM to noon for cleanup.
Institute
Access the venue the day before, from 9:00 AM to midnight for setup.
The Institute must be clean and cleared by 1am on the evening of the reception.
Kitchen Access: Use of the Hall kitchen from 8:00 AM on the day of the reception for catering.
Seating, Tables & Other:
128 chairs (chair covers to be arranged separately by the client).
30 Rectangle tables 5 ft long by 2 ft
Crockery, cutlery and glassware available on request.
Fairy lights on the beams of the Village Hall are included.
Parking: Limited to 3 reserved spaces behind the Village Hall. Additional parking suggestions:
Nearby Public Parking: Encourage guests to use nearby public parking facilities.
Village Accommodation: Suggest staying at the Eagle & Child Inn, B&B, Holiday lets
Public transport: A bus stop is located directly outside the Village Hall and a train station is also within the village of Staveley, within walking distance of the venue.
Taxi Service: Consider hiring a shuttle service for guests from nearby accommodations.
Pricing:
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance and a £200 refundable damage and cleaning deposit are due six weeks before the booking date.
Staveley Village Hall can host no more than 10 weddings per year.

Key Information:
TENS License: If alcohol is being sold at your wedding, a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) must be obtained at least 10 working days prior to the event. The application fee is £21, and the license can be secured through the GOV.UK website. However, a TEN is not required if alcohol is provided for free or guests are bringing their own.
Music Restrictions: Live music can be played indoors until 12am.
Licensing for Ceremonies: The Village Hall is not licensed for weddings or civil ceremonies. Couples need to solemnize their marriage/partnership beforehand.
Bar Location: If you plan to have a bar, please set up the bar in The Institute, not inside the Village Hall. The Institute is conveniently linked to the Village Hall, providing easy access for guests while keeping the main event space clear.
External Doors: The external doors that face the main road must remain closed for the safety of your guests.
The Institute: The Institute must be clean and cleared by 1am on the evening of your wedding. The Calvary Church is in service every Sunday, in the Institute from 9am till 1pm. Please be mindful of noise when entering the Village hall the next day.
Recycling: You are responsible for properly disposing of any glass, cardboard, or recyclable materials from your event. A general waste bin is provided; however, once full, you must empty and remove your general waste.
Nearby Registry Offices: Kendal is the closest registry office.
Church Services: St James COFE Church in Staveley is available if you're interested in a traditional church service.
