Update on Playground Works.

The SVA received an update from UU this morning regarding the works in the playground.

UU have not yet secured permission from the Environment Agency and Natural England to progress with the river crossing, which has unfortunately stalled the works in the playground. These works were due to be completed by the 1st August, and Playdale had been booked to reinstall the playground from Monday 3 August.

Unfortunately, this will inevitably delay the reopening of the playground. UU are in communication with Playdale to agree on a new installation date.

We understand this news is disappointing, and we will update the community as soon as we know more. The SVA are not in a position to answer any questions at this stage.
